Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX9 User Manual

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX9 User Manual - Sony announces an exciting lifestyle camera. The DSC-TX9 with 12.2 megapixels Exmor R ™ sensor surprises with completely new, creative automatic functions and fascinating 3D swing panoramas. The DSC-TX9 sets new standards: its image quality is even more convincing than its predecessors, its design is more elegant and its range of functions more creative than most compact cameras in its class. The highlight is the unique 3D panorama function. Thin, light and beautiful: fresh, summery colors underline the value of the metal case. Available in anthracite, gold, and pink, the TX9 weighs only 133 grams and is extremely flat with 17.5 millimeters. The most distinctive design feature is the typical vertical slide closure. This allows the cameras to be switched on or off quickly and with only one finger movement. The TX9 can be counted among the new night owls: your 12.2 megapixel Exmor R ™ sensor ensures brilliant shots, even in low-light conditions. The TX9 delivers crisp images on every party. All who appreciate moving pictures will also get their money's worth - the TX9 films videos in full HD with 1080i (AVCHD) and stereo sound. The optical image stabilizer (SteadyShot) prevents camera shake. The camera is equipped with a wide-angle 25-millimeter Carl Zeiss lens and quad-optical zoom. The TX9's Xtra Fine Display measures 8.8 centimeters (3.5 inches with 921'600 pixels and RGB) and reproduces colors and contrasts even more clearly thanks to TruBlack technology.

The real fun factor of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX9 is the Pan panorama mode, which allows for very beautiful widescreen recordings. Such impressive photos can be created with an optional housing also under water. Here, the "Underwater Sweep Panorama" mode takes a special white balance and ensures brilliant snorkel and dive recordings with natural colors. As a new top model of the T series, the TX9 is equipped with four new creative features. Real highlight: The camera creates three-dimensional panoramas, the sharpness and depth only startling and then inspire. In the so-called "3D Sweep Panorama" mode, the recording of a 3D image becomes a children's play. The user simply has to swivel the camera horizontally or vertically after it is triggered, while the TX9 takes up to 100 photos in a few seconds. When the camera is connected to a 3D compatible TV, the 3D images stored in a standard format can be enjoyed in large format.

The "Sweep Multi Angle" function creates a different spatial image impression. When the photographer moves around a subject in this mode, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX9 stops the different viewing angles in 15 individual images, with the sensor recording the movements of the photographer. If the user looks at the pictures later on a 3D-capable BRAVIA TV, the motif is shown from the viewing angle into which the user moves the camera during viewing. By means of the "Superior Auto Mode", the TX9 reduces the color noise as much as it can otherwise only digital SLR cameras. In doing so, she applies an intelligent trick: when pressing the shutter button, the camera can hold up to six different individual images of the subject depending on the subject mode. After that, the electronics take the best detail from each shot and combine the collected image information into a photo with low noise and brilliant contrasts. The "Background Defocus" function, on the other hand, produces portrait shots with a blurred background, which otherwise only allow the large aperture apertures of SLR cameras.
